If Apple announces these products today, they will start hitting retail shelves in the coming days. That’s why you should wait and avoid spending your money on an old Apple product.

Keep in mind that the iPhone SE has always been positioned as a “budget” option and so far Apple has refrained from calling it a “low-cost” iPhone. With the new iPhone SE dropping soon, so unless you need to replace one urgently, it’s best to put it off for now.

Talk of the iPad Air upgrade announced during Tuesday’s event is a done deal. Don’t expect a major redesign this year since the iPad Air 4 got an iPad Pro-like design in late 2020. In fact, this year’s iPad Air could get minor upgrades to keep the popular iPad relevant in the premium tablet segment. Improvements to the iPad Air 5 could include a faster A15 Bionic or M1 chipset, 5G support, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a central camera feature for video calls. It is not clear whether the upcoming iPad Air will get an OLED screen as rumored for several months. These hardware changes will make your iPad Air even better. Keep this in mind before you rush out and buy your current iPad Air 4.

With the move to Apple silicon, the working days of the Intel-powered Mac mini have been numbered. The Intel-powered Mac mini is rumored to be in line with the change, with Apple expected to show off a high-end model with custom M1 Pro/Mac silicon at a “Peek Performance” event. Don’t confuse the upcoming Mac mini with the current M1 Mac mini, Apple’s most affordable desktop PC in the Mac lineup. M1 Mac mini was launched in 2020.
The new Mac mini has a new design and more ports, along with a faster processor that will naturally meet the needs of power users. And therefore It might be worth continuing to buy one until we get a clearer idea of how Apple wants to position the soon-to-be-announced Mac mini. We’ll have to wait and see if it arrives on March 8th.

Don’t even think about buying a 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M1 processor right now. Powerful was the 13-inch MacBook Pro, it lost its appeal when Apple decided to launch the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro last fall. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the 13-inch MacBook Pro may not get upgraded at all, and there’s a reason Apple wants to discontinue the device with an “old design factor.” It’s still a great device, but it’s less powerful compared to the 14-inch MacBook Pro. In fact, there is a growing perception among the creative community that the 13-inch MacBook Pro is Apple’s baffling offering.
