Morey canceled after 31 seasons, Morey Povich announced retirement

After more than 30 years on network television, Morey Povich calls it quitting. NBCUniversal confirmed Povich’s joint offer on Sunday More It will end once the 31st season ends with new episodes airing later this year. In a double statement from both Povich and the studio, it was revealed that the talk show host initially planned to retire six years ago before agreeing to return. The series is expected to stop airing new episodes in September.

“Six years ago when I was ready to retire, my NBCUniversal family asked me to continue the show,” Povich said on Sunday. “Even though I told them I was ready to help live, out of loyalty to NBCUniversal and over 100 staff and crew members, Tracie Wilson and I agreed to another deal. I am very proud of my relationship with NBCUniversal and all those who have worked on More Show, but as I occasionally told my guests: “Enough, already!”
