As usual, Netflix announced a new slate of titles coming to the streaming service in addition to those leaving next month. As is less common, the announcement also indicates that a new video game will be making its way to the platform as part of the relatively new Netflix Games initiative. More specifically, Netflix’s April 2022 announcements include the fact that the video game Archeology Hunters: The Rebels Soon in service.

Archeology Hunters: The Rebels A far cry from the first video game available on the service. Netflix games, if you’re not familiar, basically allow anyone who is a Netflix subscriber to generally access a number of video games on Android and iOS devices. There is no further purchase or subscription required, and there are no ads or in-app purchases in the titles Netflix adds to its game lineup. So far, these have been largely what would be considered casual mobile games, but Netflix has been taking steps to boost its library by, for example, acquiring Oxenfree II: The Lost Signals Developer Night School Studio.
Archeology Hunters: The Rebels It’s from developer Rogue Snail and is a far cry from the team’s first Relic Hunters title. So he said, the rebels It is specifically a mobile-exclusive shooter/looting/RPG that features hunters and appears to have yet to be released anywhere and is likely to be a first on Netflix.
As mentioned above, Netflix Games are available globally on both Android and iOS devices with players being able to find different games in different app store fronts to download with the addition of the Netflix app itself. It is not clear exactly when Archeology Hunters: The Rebels It will launch for Netflix games, but it looks like the signal will be at some point next month.
