Far Cry 6 is getting a free weekend, including a Stranger Things crossover

Ubisoft has announced a free weekend for its latest action-adventure title, Far Cry 6. Starting today, the game is available to download and play for free, until March 27, 2022.

Ubisoft The announcement was made in a tweet, allowing players to take advantage of both single-player and co-op modes on the vibrant tropical island of Yara. Since it’s exclusive to Epic Games, PC players can only claim it via the player, while others can head to the Ubisoft Store and link their own accounts.

Those interested can purchase the title at a 50 percent discount from the Epic Games Store, while the Ubisoft Store offers only a 40 percent discount. Both stores also have a Season Pass at a 35 percent discounted price – they offer more content once you’ve finished the main game.

In addition, the studio has teamed up with popular Netflix show, Stranger Things, to bring a new element of survival horror to the world of Far Cry. Players can explore bunkers, labs, and hidden locations inspired by the series – including the ruffled-faced Demogorgon that hunts in the dark.
