Originating and representing the birthplace of America, the Philadelphia 76ers have attracted some legends to their team over the years.

The Philadelphia 76ers have had some tough seasons, but they’ve claimed some legendary players as their players over the years. The team won a total of three championships and is currently The second best team in the Eastern Conference.

The 76ers had one of the best seasons in NBA history with a Scored 68-13 in the 1966-1967 season. They were honored for this by being named the best singles team to celebrate the NBA’s 35th anniversary in 1980.

The 76ers surely made their mark on the team, but there are a few legends who came and went so quickly that may have been forgotten. These players may have been forgotten at the age of 76, but they certainly won’t be forgotten in the NBA.

3. Bob McAdoo

McAdoo is best known for his offense with the Buffalo Braves, before they became the L.A. Clippers. During his first few seasons, he earned Rookie of the Year and Best Player, and also become an outstanding scoring player.

McAdoo was talented and consistent which made him a reliable player. He played his last season in the NBA with 76ers, and he has been consistently making Almost half of all field goal attempts. After his season with the 76ers, he went to Europe to play for a few years.

McAdoo was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000 for his outstanding achievements. He led the NBA in scoring three times, and Averaged 34.5 points per game. He played 14 seasons and over the course of his career, he scored 18.787 total points. He averaged at least 20 points per game in seven seasons, and when he left the NBA to play in Europe, he averaged more than 20 points per game.

McAdoo has been a legendary center and powerhouse striker and goalscorer during his NBA career, and the 76ers have been lucky to rightfully claim some of his stats belong to them.
