Sega teasing Sonic the Hedgehog ad tomorrow

First, the good news: Sega’s official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account has teased something they “can’t wait to show” to fans tomorrow. Now, the bad news: Tomorrow falls on April Fools’ Day, when a number of different video game companies will try to deceive fans with fake ads. Of course, Sonic fans are already skeptical that Sega will be showing something real tomorrow, but there’s a chance that this is a legitimate revelation. With sonic the hedgehog 2 It’s going to launch in one week, and that wouldn’t be the worst time for Sega to make some kind of announcement!

It’s worth noting that there are two official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter accounts, one for public Sonic ads and one for Sonic movies. This comes from the previous and can be found embedded below.

While Sega may not have a real Sonic announcement to release tomorrow, there are some real possibilities to consider. Sega announced last year Sonic Origins, which is a compilation of four classic games from Sonic. Since then, the group has basically disappeared. The collection was supposed to include some of the best Sonic games ever, including audio CDAnd the sonic 3 and knuckles. With the movie out next week, it doesn’t look like an update to this set, or even a stealth digital release, is entirely out of the question. Of course, Sega is also working on vocal boundaries, the next main game from Sonic Team. The game is slated to release later this year, and Sega has only provided a few details, so far. It seems unlikely that Sega will show anything from vocal boundaries Now, however, strange things have happened.

For now, Sonic fans will have to stay updated on Blue blur’s official Twitter account! It’s entirely possible that Sega will try to pass on a fake “Big the Cat Fishing Simulator,” or an announcement that Sonic will marry Amy Rose, but for now, we’ll all have to wait and see.

Do you think Sega has a real Sonic reveal coming tomorrow? Or will it be some kind of April Fools’ Day joke? Tell us in the comments or share your thoughts directly on Twitter at Tweet embed To talk about all things gaming!
