Giuliana Pena Blasts Ronda Rousey, Trying To Get Her Out Of MMA Retirement

Ronda Rousey hasn’t participated in mixed martial arts since then UFC 207 In December 2016, he lost to Amanda Nunes 48 seconds in the first round in an unsuccessful attempt to regain the Bantamweight Women’s Championship. Since then, she has married the UFC Hall of Fame, had a baby, launched her wrestling career with WWE and sporadically continued her acting career, seemingly putting her MMA career behind her. But in an episode of MMA watch This week, current Bantamweight champion Giuliana Pena Rossi publicly called out for her choice to leave the sport after back-to-back losses.

“Ronda is old news, isn’t it?” Bina said (H/T MMA Fighting). “I think the amazing thing about her is that she opened the door and was destroying people in 10 seconds, and she became a star because she was taking out people in the first round, which is cool – but she went out twice and never came so how legitimate is she?

“She had to go into pro wrestling. And I got that and I think that’s cool. But as a fighter and a competitive person, I know that – deep down – maybe it really bothers her, the fact that she went so far from two knockout losses and never came back to make her name so good. If it was It really bothers her and if it comes under her skin at the end of the day to know that her legacy has kind of ruined it she never came back and she never came back on a horse, then I would invite her to come back please–and if she would like to come back, I would welcome her with open arms.”

Pina added – “That’s what I’m saying, it’s kind of a joke in the MMA world now, because – what’s the word? – selling. Like, a little bit of selling there. I mean, I guess I got it, right? It’s like, pro wrestling is fake, it’s I paid millions of dollars, I got it. But for me, for me like, ‘You’re the real real deal,’ I’d say this is in the UFC. And if she wants any of that real smoke, I’m ready.”

But the hero is not finished. You started talking about Russian WrestleMania 38 Matches last weekend and she said she’s a fan, but then she snapped shots at Rousey’s ring.

“I thought it was amazing [WrestleMania] Bina said. “I thought she was pretty good, yeah. And that’s just from girl to girl as a fan – I’m a fan and I think she’s cool and I’m happy for her, and I think what she’s doing in WWE is great – but as a fan, she either needs to be more comfortable dealing with her skin Or you need to figure out a different dress, because every move you make, there’s a wardrobe fix. You know what I mean?”

Will this petty talk lead to a Russian comeback? Or will you just ignore the whole thing? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!
