After all that buildup, all the speculation and all the excitement, Tiger Woods came out at The Masters and golf fans everywhere were celebrating.
It may have taken a half hour longer than expected due to the late morning weather at The Masters, but Tiger Woods is officially back in the competition.
Woods, playing alongside Louis Oosthuizen and Joaquin Niemann on Thursday in the first round, was the first team in the group to climb to the first tee and swing away.
It might have been a bit blocked and only cut 264 yards and less than the big fairway bunker, but to see Tiger Woods again at Augusta National Golf Club and in any type of competitive golf at all was truly a sight worth seeing for all golf fans.

With just over 400 days since his horrific car accident nearly losing a leg, Woods’ comeback has been widely celebrated simply because she made it to Augusta this week. In short, the first shot was in itself a victory.
Woods’ superb shot might not have been great and his second shot was left just a short distance from the green.
But then we got some classic Tiger Woods performance as he twirled under the pit to leave himself on par. Naturally, he put him at the bottom of the cup in order to tackle and with him prepare for the tournament he won five times.
It’s safe to say, we’re getting out and running with The Cat and we couldn’t be happier that’s the case.
