Decades after the original movie, a world willow It’s set to continue a Disney+ exclusive series, and updates surrounding the project have continued to thrill fans. While we only got a glimpse of the series ahead of its planned debut this year, the cast around the project is just beginning to take shape — and apparently, it’s making history in the process. It was reported, Thursday, that actress Talisa Garcia has joined willow, giving her the honor of being the first openly trans actress to be cast in a Lucasfilm production, and the first time a trans actor has played a homogeneous character in a Disney+ title. Includes Garcia Movies Miracle workers, friendly experience, And the Baptiste. Garcia is said to be playing a queen, who is the mother of Tony Revolori’s character on the project.
willow Set years after the events of the 1988 fantasy film, the film introduces all-new characters into an enchanted world of fantasy queens and two-headed Iborsk monsters, and welcomes its protagonist Willow Ofgood (Davis). The project is also set to star SerpentEllie Bamber as the dove, East Town mareRuby Cruz as Kate and The Hawk and the Winter SoldierErin Kellyman as Jade, and one army Alum Aamir Shaddat Patel as Burman.
Stephen Wolfenden will direct the pilot after John M Chu (In the Highlands, Crazy Rich Asianand Jonathan EntwistleApocalypse F***, I’m not okay with this) It was previously attached to the routing at various points.
