It is alleged that Princess Diana once stated that she would never date Tom Cruise because he was too short.
According to Darren McGrady, a former royal chef, the princess and the actor met on the set of Mission: Impossible several years ago.
She reportedly took her two sons, William and Harry, to see the action movie and he “loved it.”
On the other hand, Darren claims that after meeting Cruz, Diana joked that he would be removed “from the list” because of his height.
The A-lister’s exact height and weight are unknown, but he is believed to be 5 feet 7 inches tall.
“I remember Princess Diana taking the boys to the Mission Impossible site and meeting Tom Cruise,” said Darren, who has worked at Buckingham Palace for 11 years.
“The fireworks were successful with Wills and Harry.” Princess Diana replied: ‘This is another one on the list, Darren.’ He’s not tall enough! “
