Elite Season 5 release date and plot preview

Season 5 of Elite arrived on Netflix on Friday, April 8, 2022.

After the deadly events in the Season 4 finale, Ari, Mencia, and their friends will have to shrug their shoulders after the fateful New Year’s party ends with the death of Armando, the man who has been stalking Mencia.

When Season 4 ended, Armando’s body had yet to be found, but the police investigation into his disappearance didn’t take long to reach Las Encinas in Season 5 and it’s only a matter of time before the missing body is found and serious questions begin to be asked.

Explanation of the end of the fifth season of Elite

The discovery of Armando’s body was inevitable in Elite Season 5 and eventually, Omar found the body in Episode 4.

He contacted Samuel and with the rest of the gang, they tried to devise a plan, eventually settling on calling the police as there is no evidence to suggest they were the ones who killed him.

Meanwhile, Mencia discovers a SIM card containing evidence of Armando and her father Benjamin communicating with each other, which leads her to believe that Benjamin was the real killer and not Guzmán as suggested in the Season 4 finale.

However, when the police started asking questions in Las Encinas, Benjamin began putting pressure on Samuel, noting that he had previously said Armando would never return, suggesting that Benjamin had pieced together that Samuel was somehow involved in the body’s disappearance.

Benjamin even suggests making a deal with Samuel, making the student take the blame for Armando’s murder rather than support him financially for the rest of his life – which Samuel agrees, falsely admitting to the police that he killed Armando.

As the episodes progress, Samuel is accused of Armando’s murder and is left to await trial with Benjamin assuring him that his lawyers will make sure Samuel receives a short sentence.

However, Mancia reveals to her father that she found a SIM card with his contact details for Armando and explains that he was blackmailed, giving him motive to kill Armando.

Mencia agrees to let Benjamin delete the files indebted to the SIM card in exchange for bailing Samuel out of prison. But Benjamin reneged on his word and would never save Samuel. Fortunately, Mancia made a copy of the card.

By the end of season five, Benjamin learns that a copy of the card has been made and that Samuel owns it.

Samuel wants to take the card to the police, but Benjamin convinces him to come so they can discuss the deal further, which will qualify Samuel for life with a place at Oxford University and a job at Benjamin Holdings afterward.

However, when Samuel rejected the proposal, Benjamin threw himself on the teen, knocking him to the ground as he hit his head on the floor before falling into the pool, which is shown in a fast-forward show during the season.

Benjamin’s children, Ari, Mencia and Patrick arrive at the scene just in time to see what their father has done and Mancia calls the police, which leads to Benjamin’s arrest.

Samuel doesn’t die instantly from his injury, but after being dragged out of a pond, he stumbles a few meters before collapsing and dying from the severity of his injury, leaving the elite characters in a flood of tears as season five draws to a close.
