Selena Scott is a television host who hosted Savile on her show in the ’80s. In the 2022 documentary, she recalls the experience, “[Saville was]the kind you wouldn’t want to bump into on the street.”
In hindsight, given Scott’s reaction now, it’s clear that Savile made a number of disturbing comments during the interview, claiming that he was constantly surrounded by women.

Selena Scott worked for the BBC for several years and during an interview with Watchman In January 2021, she spoke about her experience:
βI soon knew this hatred was there. Once I arrived, I was treated like an intruder β I wasnβt one of them β and so my TV life became difficult. There was always a feeling that they were trying to get rid of me.β
Scott claims there were problems with “the way she looked at the time” and the fact that she “got a lot of publicity”.
