Breath of the Wild 2 clips

Recent clips from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 It sparked more theories about the arrival of the successor to the Nintendo Switch. Just two weeks ago, Nintendo announced that it would be pushing the untitled sequel to Breath of the wild Back in early 2023. In conjunction with this announcement, Nintendo also showed off some brief new footage straight from the game. And while there isn’t much to see in this teaser, some insiders now believe the footage may indicate the arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2.

In a recent podcast from digital foundryNintendo was supposed to be working on a new Switch model at this time. Although Nintendo has previously denied that it has a new version of the Switch in play, John Linneman of Digital Foundry believed the latest screenshots of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 It looked much better than expected. “This trailer was interesting because the image quality looked very good, I think,” said Lineman. “I was a bit surprised at how sharp and clear the image was compared to the original overall.” This idea was reinforced by Alex Battaglia, who agreed that the gameplay highlighted in the trailer could stem from “The Next Key”.

Although this is just speculation on the part of Linneman and Battaglia, it is worth noting that Digital Foundry is one of the major authorities in the gaming industry when it comes to analyzing graphics and performance features associated with video games. As such, what they’re saying on the matter here carries quite a bit of weight and could indicate that Nintendo could develop a new Switch console.

Then again, it is also worth emphasizing that the original Breath of the wild It was a joint game between the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo Switch. As such, with Nintendo now developing a sequel only for the Switch rather than the last generation hardware, perhaps Breath of the Wild 2 It should look much better as a result.

Do you also think that Nintendo may be preparing to release a new Switch console sometime within the next year? And if it’s not inside this window, when do you think the next switch will end up running?
