My Hero Academia fans are experts when it comes to formulating theories about their favorite heroes, and the same can be said about villains. After all, Shigaraki and All For One are just two of the most wanted villains in the manga. Dabi may have drawn more theories of his time than the other two combined, and now a new theory questions man’s connections to sleep.
For those who want to know how all this is Started, we have Chapter 350 to thank. There were fans watching Dabby reveal more of his past. Specifically, we learn how Dabi survived the fire he set on Sekoto Peak as Touya when he was ready to cross death’s door. It turns out that it was Dr. Garaki who saved Dabi, and the man’s creation of Nomu has fans some dismay.
After all, Dr. Garaki explained that Dabi was saved by experimental procedures and floggings from other people. As the separation continued, the doctor said that these treatments would not allow Dabi to live a year in his condition, but pure malevolence kept the boy going. And when the men met again years later, Dabi had the following to share: “Seeing this corpse walking in here gives me a good idea of what you were planning to do with me.”

Dabi admitted this after meeting the high-end Nomo, and after seeing all these monsters so far, fans are wondering if Dabi’s life-saving surgery was a precedent to that used to make the high-end. The miracle of Dr. Jaracki’s work to bring Dabi back from the dead cannot be overstated. The villain would not be alive without this procedure, and his doctor had to use others to treat the wounds dug into Dabi’s body. Dr. Garaki still uses this interchange when making the new Nomu, so it’s no surprise to speculate about Dabi’s resuscitation and its relationship to growth.
