“The specialists will not be removed but will be reworked,” confirmed the developer, who joked that a lot of changes are coming this year, but that their implementation simply takes some time. Drapert did not say what changes are being made to the specialists, but they emphasized that reworking the specialists required a lot of work, which likely explains why they were not removed. More specifically, Drabert said the following in response to someone telling the developer that specialists should be placed in classes, and in the process, hinting at this change is to introduce simple markup:

While it’s unclear when some of the changes Drabert is teasing will come, we do know that a massive update will drop next week. However, it doesn’t look like this will be the update to currently save the game in free fall, or at least fans don’t seem to think it will be.
