Patrick Mahomes’ trip to Coachella sparked all sorts of snaps but the worst of them all was a Bills fan trying to compare the Chiefs QB to Josh Allen.
Competitions take many forms and Twitter has a way of amplifying them. Sometimes, this is unfortunate.
A certain section of Bills Twitter has found a way to turn every moment into a competition between Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo’s Josh Allen.
When the Mahomes were spotted at Coachella, that competition reached its most confusing level thanks to a fan who got involved in the most ridiculous thing possible.
Bills fans dropped their worst showdown on Patrick Mahomes at Coachella
“Patrick and Brittany at Coachella and Josh and Brittany at a Cypress match. QB’s are not the same as #BillsMafia #OneBuffalo,”
Cheerleaders wouldn’t let that slide. Tweet got a very large percentage. Even Bills fans were doing the equivalent of a photo of Jonah Hill’s stop.
It doesn’t matter that Kansas City doesn’t have a hockey team. Never mind that Mahomes actually owns a stake in many of the local sports teams. It doesn’t matter that it’s often seen at local sporting events. Just comparing an off-season night between one midfielder and another is a ridiculous attempt.
Going to a music festival or a hockey game in mid-April says nothing about either guy’s personality.
This is Twitter for you. Sometimes crazy fan tweets are part of the experience.
