Maverick Hypes “The Most Intense Cinematic Training Ever” in a New Feature

Tom Cruise is taking fans behind the ‘strongest cinematic workout ever’ in a new feature for Top Gun: Maverick. The prolific actor is known for performing many of his own stunts on film set, and Top Gun: Maverick is no exception. What makes the 1986 Top Gun sequel so unique is Cruise and the cast literally behind the stick of fighter jets, which greatly increases the risk factor and the amount of training they have to do. The video goes behind the scenes to show what the actors had to put up with to get the perfect shots and the dedication to his career that Cruz has.

“I wasn’t ready to do a sequel until we had a special story that deserved a sequel,” Cruz said. “Until the technology develops so we can dig deeper into the fighter pilot experience.” Producer Jerry Bruckheimer added, “The first movie has become something of a generation. So it’s exciting to be back on those planes again.”
