Ronald Acuña is one of the hottest young stars in Major League Soccer, and unfortunately he hasn’t been able to play for a while. Injuries are always terrible and they’ve been denying baseball fans everywhere Acuña for quite some time now.
However, Atlanta Braves, Braves fans, and baseball fans everywhere must be excited about the way Acuña’s recovery is proceeding. He’s not there yet, but it looks like Acuña is getting closer and closer to being able to return to playing in the major leagues.
But first, it looks like he’ll need to stop at Triple-A in Jacksonville, Florida. Besides a few other things he’ll have to do to prove he’s ready, capable and healthy enough to play for the Braves, Acuña will need to do his own rehab job. This includes playing for Gwinnett Stripers.

The 24-year-old was injured in the AFC Champions League last July and has since been ruled out. When Acuña is healthy and able to play, it’s exciting to watch. A season ago, in just 82 games, Acuña had a batting average of 0.283 and 24 home runs.
Keep him healthy and prepare him to hit more runs at home. The brave want that to happen. Baseball fans want that to happen. There is absolutely no doubt that Acuña wants that to happen, too.
