rainbow six sig I’ve gotten new map experiences over the years with old maps being updated and updated, but the tactical game hasn’t really gotten a new map in some time. This has now been fixed, with the release of Emerald Plains, the first new map to come to the game during its seventh year of content. The map is only one part of Year 7 Final Edition as well, with another set of patch notes accompanying it to show how all the other agents and systems have been changed.
If you’ve been keeping up with all the teasers and revealing new upcoming content that usually aligns with the game’s esports events, you’ve probably already seen a few Emerald Plains. This is a three storey country club with two main then rooftop floors located in a sprawling country setting with stunning views of Ireland.

“Experience the rolling hills of Northern Ireland at Emerald Plains Country Club and Private Farm,” read the public display of the map. “The two floors on this map are very distinct – the modern basement contrasts with the classical style of the mansion’s upper floor – in order to emphasize the clear niches and directional landmarks.”
Emerald Plains can be accessed in Ranked, Unranked, Quick Match, Team Deathmatch, Newcomer and Lone Wolf PvE maps playlists.
While those of you who have been waiting for a new map to finally be released will undoubtedly be glad they finally heard back, you can be even happier knowing that more maps are on the way too. Roadmap Released by Ubisoft in February, it showed the plan for Year 7 which included a Team Deathmatch map in Season 2 and a single competitive map in Season 3.
