The Shaman King sequel has been confirmed although the Netflix release is still behind

A sequel to Shaman King has been confirmed in Japan, though fans on Netflix are still waiting for the final batch of episodes to be released.

In the past, anime fans had to either watch a series as a simulcast weekly or wait for the entire show to finish airing until the entire season was released on Netflix.

However, in 2021 the streaming giant demonstrated a new way to stream the latest anime titles: broadcasting smaller portions of a wider series through sets of episodes as mini-versions.

However, the series is still struggling to keep up with the domestic release of anime shows in Japan. This week, domestic audiences were thrilled to hear that a sequel to Shaman King is in the works, while fans outside Japan are still waiting for the final set of episodes.
