He has performed Gunn’s work with Warner Bros. And DC turns the Peacemaker into one of its most recognizable anti-heroes.

Nebula is another character who has been given a new life under the leadership of Gunn. Played by Thanos’ daughter Karen Gillan, she is a huge fan favorite and has enjoyed one of the best redeeming arcs in the MCU to date.

“I love my character so much. I’m obsessed with it. Honestly, I’m totally intrigued.” Gillan said recently io9. “I think she’s been so lucky. It’s like the gift that keeps on giving because she started out as this villain, and I’ve had the opportunity to show her point of view and her point of view on things. I think it’s been like six movies, and I think it’s absolutely fantastic. Her whole family dynamic, her upbringing.” And her toxic, narcissistic family system. They’re all things I love to explore.”
