It’s April 25th, which means Miss Congeniality Day is finally upon us and fans of the movie are taking to Twitter to share history memes.

April 25th is Miss Congeniality due to a special moment remembered in history in the film.
During one of the pageant scenes, Heather Burns, Miss Rhode Island, is interviewed by host William Shatner.

He asks her to describe her idea of a “perfect date”.
She answers: “April 25 – because it’s not too hot, and not too cold. All you need is a light jacket!”
The scene is funny because apparently the host was asking about Miss Rhode Island’s idea of a romantic date (in answer he was looking for something like “dinner and a movie” or “bowling”) but she instead takes the question at face value.
Miss Rhode Island’s reply is funny and comforting and you can’t help but love her for her.
When was Miss Congeniality launched?
Beauty queen Released in December 2000 by Warner Brothers and starring Sandra Bullock as the lead as Gracie, a tomboy agent.
The film follows Gracie as she is sent undercover as a Miss USA pageant agent in order to prevent the event from being blown up.
Beauty queen It was a huge success and the film saw Bullock receive a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. At the box office, the film grossed $212 million worldwide.
Given the success of the first movie, a sequel, Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and CoolIt was released on March 24, 2005.
