WWE Twitter ecstatic with Asuka’s return to revive the women’s division

Long-awaited Asuka returned to WWE on the April 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, and began a feud with Becky Lynch.

On the April 25 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch was speaking for the first time since losing the Raw Women’s Championship to Bianca Belair. At first, Lynch lamented her loss, but then said that things would only go uphill from now on, before eventually retaining the title again.

Lynch included the names of wrestlers who couldn’t beat her on Raw’s roster. Then, she hit some familiar music, and it was none other than Asuka, who was bringing it back after being sidelined due to last year’s injury! Asuka tells Lynch that she hasn’t gotten past her. Lynch went on to launch an attack, but escaped from the ring while Asuka twirled her fist backwards.

It’s safe to say, WWE fans have been elated by the return of “The Empress of Tomorrow”.
