A new PSN leak has revealed the return of one of the best PS1 games along with a classic PS1 game and a classic PSP game as well. Next month, Playstation Plus expands with two new tiers, PS Plus Premium and PS Plus Extra. The latter simply combines PS Plus with access to a huge library of PS4 and PS5 games. The former does this and also gives subscribers access to PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP games. As for the latter, a handful of PlayStation games from the past year need to be reclassified for release and uploaded to PSN, which in turn leads to a variety of leaks. The latest is a PSN leak and the reveal of three games that will be part of the PS Plus Premium library at launch.
It hasn’t been confirmed, but the following three games have been uploaded this week on PSN: Tekken 2And Ridge Racers 2And Mr. Driller. Now, this may be a coincidence. All of these games may be re-released separately in the near future, but while that is possible, this is highly unlikely. Most likely, these are PS Plus Premium games.
As for the games themselves, Tekken 2 It is the most famous for the simple reason that it is the highest rated and most popular. It was first released to arcades in the greatest year in human history – 1995 – hitting PS1 in 1996, earning 89 on Metacritic and becoming one of PS1’s best-selling games. Mr. Driller Hit a few years later in 1999, also via Namco.
