Xbox and Bethesda announce Summer Showcase event

Xbox and Bethesda have announced a new summer demo event that will take place in June. For the most part, Xbox and Bethesda hold presentations of sorts in June each year to touch on new games each publisher will release in the future. And while those shows won’t happen close to E3 this year due to the games agreement being cancelled, both publishers are still pushing ahead with the event which should lead to some interesting announcements.

Specifically, the Xbox and Bethesda game show, as it’s officially called, is set for Sunday, June 12. The event will be broadcast across all major streaming platforms and will begin at 1:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM PT. It will also be broadcast in thirty different languages, which means that people from different regions around the world will be able to watch as well.

“This show will feature amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world,” the event description said. Submitted by Xbox. “The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will include everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games soon joining the Xbox ecosystem, including upcoming releases for Game Pass on Xbox and PC.”

While we don’t currently know what games will be shown during this presentation, the title that looks like a lock appears is one starfield. Given that Bethesda Game Studios’ upcoming RPG is probably the biggest game to launch on Xbox this year, it makes sense that starfield It will be highlighted for a good amount of time during this show. In fact, the image released by Xbox and Bethesda to promote the event has a space-like design. While starfield It’s basically a lock to show, however, so it’s hard to tell anything else from the Xbox we might end up seeing.
