Most of the cast of “That ’70s Show” return for “That ’90s Show” on Netflix, diverse to learn.
Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Wilmer Valderrama are all set to guest appear on the spinoff series, once again playing their characters from the original series. The only main cast member who hasn’t returned is Danny Masterson, who played Hyde, as he prepares for trial on multiple sexual assault allegations.
As previously announced, Courtwood Smith and Debra Jo Robb are set to star in “That ’90s Show,” reprising the roles of Red and Kitty Forman. They will be joined by new members including actors Ashley Overheide, Kali Haverda, Maes Coronel, Maxwell, Ace Donovan, Ren Doe and Sam Morelos.
In the new show, it’s 1995, Leah Forman (Haverda), daughter of Eric (Grace) and Donna (Prepon), visits her grandparents in the summer, bonding with a new generation of Point Place children under the watchful eye. Kitty and a stern red glow.
The multi-cam comedy received a 10-episode order on Netflix. Original series creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner and their daughter Lindsey Turner are authors and executive producers, and alum Greg Mettler wrote “That 70’s Show” in addition to serving as executive producer and director of the show. Smith and Rupp will carry out production in addition to the tournament. Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner of Carsey-Werner, the executive director who produced the original show, will also produce the follow-up. “That ’70s Show” appeared on Fox in 1998, lasting eight seasons and 200 episodes.
