Cyborg Concept Art reveals that DC Comics wanted to cast rapper Drake for a new series

In recent years, Cyborg has become a prominent figure in the Warner Bros. lineup. and DC Comics for superheroes. The hero appeared in live motion in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of JusticeAnd Justice League Zack Snyder and DC Doom Patrol Series on HBO Max. On the film side, Ray Fisher played the role and on the TV side Jovian Wade brought “booyah”, but it turns out DC wanted a pretty big name for the role in an unknown series. According to concept artist Jared Krichevsky, almost Grammy-winning rapper Drake was considered for the role of Cyborg. Although he is not sure of which adjective.

Krichevsky wrote: “Cyborg’s concept for a series didn’t happen. They wanted to pick Drake at a certain point 😅”. “Edit: Since this post is getting attention, I have to make it clear that I don’t know what level they were thinking. I just got a brief note saying to make it look like Drake. Maybe it wasn’t something 🤷 still fun work.”

Concept art features the rapper with a bald head and classic cyborg look. His head gets a very transparent computer look with the classic red cyborg eye. The art gives the character a tank like body, which is likely to be for protection. This look is very different from other living cyborg forms and I would like to know exactly what he was up to.
