David Burnie, who starred in the first season of the tumultuous medical drama “St. Elsewhere,” as well as the short-lived and controversial sitcom “Bridget Love Burnie,” which is about the marriage of a Catholic woman to a Jewish man, at the age of 83 general. His life partner, Michelle Roberge, confirmed the news to The New York TimesHe said he died of Alzheimer’s disease at his home in Santa Monica.
