Netflix reveals first footage of Sonic Prime TV

Netflix gave ardent fans its next first taste Sonic Prime TV series. All the way back in February 2021, Netflix revealed it was working on a new animated series tied to popular Sega character Sonic the Hedgehog, although details about the project since that time have been sparse. Although there is not much we know Sonic Prime Overall, we’ve now got our first glimpse of the show’s titular character.

Revealed as part of a new video today that highlights a number of animation projects coming to Netflix, the streaming platform has shown the first footage of… Sonic Prime. The footage in question focused solely on Sonic himself and gave us a brief glimpse into the animation style the series would go into. After running through what appears to be the popular Green Hill Zone language from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series, Sonic is shown picking up a loop and talking to the camera before speeding off. Netflix hasn’t mentioned a release date for Sonic Prime Going through this footage, but it looks like we can learn more about it soon.

It is worth emphasizing that Sonic Prime It will be completely independent when compared to the larger world of Sonic the Hedgehog that Paramount Pictures is currently building. despite of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Just hitting theaters, a sequel is already being worked on, and a TV series based on Knuckles is also happening. Sonic Prime It will be his own show that will stand completely alone and tell separate stories.

As mentioned earlier, Netflix has not yet set a release date for Sonic Prime Yet, so we don’t know when to expect it to debut on the streaming platform. However, the fact that we have now shown footage from the series may indicate that the release is very close.
