If you’ve checked a few episodes of HGTV hometown (which started its own franchise)You’ll know that superstars Ben and Erin Napier hold many things they hold dear. This of course includes their desire to bring old/abandoned homes and things back to life and use that love to help revitalize small towns like their own, but it also includes their love for their families and two young daughters. Erin Napier has spoken candidly about a number of parenting struggles before, and now she’s opened up about a frightening incident that happened to her family just last year.
What scary time did Erin Napier’s family have a year ago?
While hometown Viewers keep watching Erin Napier and her husband, Ben, take in old homes that are usually in poor condition and show their full potential, something you won’t see often in the series is a lot of their two young daughters, Helen (4) and Mae (11 months). Home renovation experts have only shown brief glimpses of Helen on the show before, usually choosing to hide their children’s faces on the series and social media. Now, take Napier to Instagram To talk about a very scary time the family went through, starting on May 4 a year ago, he revealed:
Nothing gets someone’s instincts going like hearing a stranger say scary things about their loved ones, especially if those loved ones are children. As Napier explained, she and Ben were in the process of filming an episode of hometownwith a crew of CBS Sunday Morning Also from the audience, when they got word of the man who was talking about their eldest daughter.
It’s as if the others in their town didn’t pay attention to what the man was saying, and they could have found themselves in a worse situation somehow. Luckily , Al Napier (who recently took a break from social media)and others with whom they work, have had the opportunity to protect themselves and take the necessary steps to protect their families as much as possible.
This time might be even more intimidating for Napers, considering that Irene was pregnant with their second child (and fairly close to her birth) is where it all came to light. As you might imagine, it’s not easy to get over the occurrence of such a scary thing. Irene continued:
Napier spoke frankly about How difficult is the ‘dance’ of parenting For them, with their very busy schedules and two young children, and even their participation Very related post bin They are trying hard to get a nap while their new baby is sleeping too. But, one thing you also do on a regular basis is talking about wanting to protect their kids from predators, and early last year Erin Napier had to applaud the fans who were arguing why she always hides Helen’s face. You can take a look at her full post below:
As Erin Napier said, all this incident did was prove that she and Ben were handling things the right way when it came to trying to keep their kids safe.
