There is no doubt that Athens is a great university city, but the classic city is also home to the national title holder. However, Manning’s supposed interest in Texas won’t go away. There is a belief that Manning believes he can channel the inner Colt McCoy and be the one to bring the Texas back. Honestly, there’s something Georgia offers that Texas doesn’t: stability.
This is the only factor that Georgia does not have in Texas.
