Texas A&M completes Mets-like comeback to topple South Carolina

Jim Schlossnagel has a thriving Texas A&M baseball team as the Aggies completed a miraculous comeback against the South Carolina Gamecox on Saturday.

The first year of Jim Schlossnagle’s era at Texas A&M baseball got off to an incredibly strong start. The Texas A&M Aggies have won all kinds of games this season, and those wins have come in all kinds of ways.

Fortunately for the Aggies, and unfortunately for the South Carolina Gamecocks, A&M’s recent win came in the form of an exciting comeback.

On Saturday, somehow, the Aggies found themselves trailing South Carolina by 9-0 by the time the fourth inning was over. In general, teams lose when you are late this much. It’s hard to get over this kind of helplessness.

However, this has not happened at all with Aggies.

Texas A&M managed to make a great comeback and win over South Carolina, claiming the series is in the process.

So how did all this recording happen?

Well, the Gamecocks had one run on the board at the start, seven runs a second, and then another in the fourth set to lead 9-0. At the bottom of that fifth, the Aggies had a rule-laden outing and then a major championship to start making the game fun and setting the score at 9-5.

Both teams scored one in the seventh inning and then both teams scored five more runs down the eighth to claim an 11-10 advantage over the Gamecocks.

Follow that up with some untold tricks from South Carolina at the top of the ninth inning to give the Gamecocks the lead once again.

And then of course, a home run for the Aggies.

Just a totally normal, totally quiet college baseball game.
