Dr. Gharib Arguably one of the best movies to come out of Marvel Studios Phase 3’s slate of movies, the movie features an iconic character from the source material as the villain. The film had two villains with Mads Mikkelsen as Caeselus and Dormamo. The latter had a very interesting design, but it turned out that it could have looked completely different. Marvel Studios concept artist Anthony Francisco revealed an alternate design for Dormammu on Instagram.
The concept of art is completely different from what we got into it Dr. Gharib, but it’s great to see what it could have been. Francisco reveals two different designs for Dormammu, both of which are more scary than we get in the movie. Both designs show a villain in space, with one even showing Dr. Strange negotiating with him. You can check out the concept art below!
Marvel Studios has officially released the sequel to the first movie and its title Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness. The movie presents some interesting choices, but nothing is more interesting than the villain in the movie. There were a lot of rumors surrounding the plot of the films and the most interesting was that Wanda Maksimov was the main villain rather than the evil version of Doctor Strange. Now, Michael Waldron is breaking his silence on why she must be the villain. While speaking with The Wrap, Waldron explains the reasoning behind the choice.
“There was always an idea of her as part of the set and this discussion about will she fail in the end? I mean, she’s always been in the cards because she’s the character in the comics, based on ‘House of M’ and all that stuff, there’s Wanda going crazy,” he reveals Waldron.” We were excited about the idea of making her the main antagonist in the movie because she felt there was no stronger opponent. And we felt that having her as a band member only to get bad in the end would actually be in short both versions of that journey. Maybe you get a lousy version of her falling from grace, maybe also a lousy version of being a villain, as opposed to the really fun version of being a villain.”
Describes Marvel Studios Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness As follows: “To restore a world in which everything is changing, Strange enlists the help of his ally Wong, the supreme sorcerer, and the most powerful scarlet witch of the Avengers, Wanda. But a terrible threat looms over humanity and the entire universe no longer achievable by their power alone. And it is Most surprising is that the greatest threat in the universe looks exactly like Doctor Strange.”
The film is directed by legendary Sam Ramy and will star Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Kristen Palmer, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, and Zochitel Gomez. As America Chavez and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo. Doctor Strange’s Multiverse Madness is in theaters now!
