After dropping the trailer for the Disney+ movie about the Bucks star’s life recently, fans wanted to know more about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s parents, Charles and Veronica Antetokounmpo.
Giannis Antikonmo is one of the stars of the NBA and arguably the best player in the world.
Drafted with the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, “The Greek Freak” already had a historic run. He is a two-time Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and a six-time All-Star.
Last year, he led the Milwaukee Bucks to their first NBA Championship in 50 years and earned a Finals MVP.

Disney recently released a trailer for a new original movie titled Rise, which focuses on Giannis Anticonmo and his family during his early years.

Who are the parents of Giannis Antikonmo?
Giannis Antikonmo’s parents are Charles and Veronica Antikonmo, who are both former Nigerian athletes. Charles was It said Part of the Yoruba Nigerian ethnic group while Veronica is part of the Igbo Nigerian ethnic group. His father played football and his mother was a high jumper.

Alex is a college basketball player, and the eldest, Francis, is known as a semi-professional soccer player.
Giannis Charles’ father passed away in 2017.
Sadly, Giannis’ father Charles Antetokonmo passed away in September 2017 after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was only 54 years old.
