Spy family x Fans are celebrating Yor Forger’s biggest moment as a mom yet with the latest episode of the series! Tatsuya Endo’s original manga series has dominated screens since the official animated movie premiered earlier this spring. It’s no secret why fans were quickly drawn to the three central characters as they needed to make a new family unit while keeping all their secrets from each other. But as the episodes so far have shown, each one of them also discovers what it really means to live together as a family.

It was especially difficult for Yor, who, unlike Lloyd, lacks many of the elegant skills she thinks fit for an ordinary wife and mother. She has become self-doubt in her short time with Lloyd and Anya, especially since she has trouble appearing as a good mother to her daughter. But the most recent episode sees her literally standing up for her baby with everything she has, and this moment cements Yure as Anya’s real mother as she moves on with her and Anya.

She finds that Anya is not afraid of the kind of person she really is (because Anya can read Yuer’s thoughts anyway), and discovers that she can be a mother in her own way.
