Sega teases multiple new games, including remastered and remastered versions

Japanese video game publisher Sega, probably best known for its work on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, has revealed that it will be releasing plenty of new games this year, some of which will include reworks and reworks of previous titles. At this time, we already have one idea of what one of these transformers could be Sonic Origins Scheduled to be released next month. Outside of that title, it’s hard to know what might be in the pipeline.

Revealed in a recent financial presentation, Sega outlined what it plans to do for the next fiscal year (which runs through March 2023). In doing so, it was stated that Sega plans to release new games that would be eligible for remakes, remasters, or spin-offs from other franchises. It also said that it plans to release “multiple titles” of this genre, which means we can expect a number of different games in this style beyond the scope of Sonic Origins.

So what could some of these new games from Sega be like? Well, this is a little difficult. Just last year, Sega chose to bring back the idle Monkey Ball series with a remastered package known as Super Monkey Banana Ball Mania. The publisher also happens to own the Atlus’ Persona franchise and rumors have been swirling for some time about new ports for both 3 . character And Persona 4 Golden. Whether or not these games will actually be re-released though is something we haven’t learned yet from Atlus.

We also heard less than a month ago that Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi are two franchises Sega plans to bring back in new capacity at some point. Whether or not these new games will be released in the next fiscal year is something we don’t know right now, especially since development on these reboots appears to be early.

What new games are you hoping to see released in Sega next year? More specifically, what kind of remakes and simulations of previous titles would you like to see materialized? Let me know either in the comments or connect with me on Twitter at Trustworthy.
