Sony has revealed the initial list of games from the PlayStation 3 era that will be available when PlayStation Plus Premium launches next month. One of the biggest advantages of Sony’s new version of PS Plus is that it will have many of the same perks that PlayStation Now offered. And while this service comes at a higher cost than usual, Sony is trying to add titles from its back catalog to make the subscription worth it.
In total, it is confirmed that you will be able to access a few dozen PS3 games when you launch PlayStation Plus Premium. These games will only be available to play via live stream, which means that you will have to have a stable internet connection to play these games. Assuming this is not a problem for you, the entire lineup is quite extensive and contains a number of popular first and third games.
It’s worth noting that the PS3 games announced for PS Plus Premium so far have only been described as an “early look” at what the full catalog has to offer. With that in mind, it looks like more PS3 titles will be announced for the service before it launches on June 13.
