The legend of Carnage continues to expand in the Marvel universe, as a terrifying serial killer heads to Hell in order to get what he wants. Writer Ram V and artists Francesco Mana and Roger Antonio begin a new chapter for the re-launched Carnegie villain. After the events of the severe massacres and carnage forever One shot, Cletus Kasady and the Carnage symbiote go their separate ways. Her story will be picked up in August massacre #6 She heads to the kingdom of the Dark Elves to claim the throne of Malekith.
cover for massacre #6 Written by Kendrick “Kunkka” Lim features a Game of Thrones-style carnage standing victorious with her foot on Malkith’s knees. The altarpiece has a pair of trumpets sprouting from its head, with a trident in the left hand and a sharp blade formed from his right hand above Malekith’s throat.
Malekith was the main villain behind the Marvel War of the Realms event, in which the evil Thor attempted to conquer the Nine Realms. It seems that Carnegie is now setting her sights on other dimensions in the Nine Realms as well, bringing her into conflict with the ruler of the Dark Elf.
“This Carnage story is very likely to become the most misrepresented thing I’ve ever written,” Ram V said when Carnage was first announced in December. “The killer symbiote has gone through some pretty significant changes lately and it’s left me with an opportunity to do something new and innovative with the character and the kind of stories you would expect to find in a Carnage book. Kind of horrifying — as scary in terms of its ramifications as it is on the page. That’s carnage. Devilish and frightening as he sets out to discover where the limits of his abilities truly lie. I pity those caught in his wake. The Marvel universe isn’t ready for what Carnegie is turning into.”
