The Witcher 3 finally gets a PS5 and Xbox Series X release window.

To coincide with the seventh anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt After its launch, developer CD Projekt Red has finally announced today when fans will be able to play the next version of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. This new iteration of the game Witcher 3 It has been in the works for some time and it was already planned that it would actually be launched. Just over a month later, CDPR announced that the next generation release would be postponed indefinitely. Fortunately, that indefinite launch window is now gone.

It was announced on social media this morning, and CD Projekt Red confirmed it The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt The PS5 and Xbox Series X will both arrive in the last quarter of 2022. This specifically means that the game will start sometime between October 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022. CD Projekt Red hasn’t shown anything else relevant to this new version of Witcher 3especially in the form of gameplay footage, but it’s still good to know that the game will be re-released before the end of 2022.

As a reminder, CD Projekt Red has already confirmed in the past that everyone currently owns Witcher 3 On PS4, Xbox One, or PC, they’ll be able to get the next-gen upgrade for free later this year when it’s released. With that in mind, if you don’t already own the game and you’re putting off buying it until this new update is released, you can always look to buy it in the months leading up to its release and still receive the same benefits. look at the number of times Witcher 3 It ends up on sale, too, so you might have to pick it up the next time it gets a big discount.
