Speaking of the Platinum Jubilee, Lemon Swiss Roll and Amaretti Trifle were recently awarded the title Platinum Pudding for the upcoming celebration.
With a jury including the likes of Mary Berry, 31-year-old copywriter Gemma Melvin was chosen over four-country pudding, Victoria sponge cake, and passionfruit and thyme tart.
The dish will become a part of British food history, following in the footsteps of the classic Victoria Sponge, the famous coronation chicken stuffing sandwich.
The recipe includes Swiss curd lemon roll, delicious lemon custard, chunky mandarin coulis, and a whip of fresh whipped cream.
