Romeko Takahashi’s classic anime and manga franchise, Urusei YatsuuraAnd Gearing up for a big anime comeback, it’s got its first real look at what to expect from the big reboot with a new trailer and poster! The manga was Takahashi’s first major series with Shogakukan, and as part of the publisher’s 100th anniversary celebration, they are now bringing the series back for an all-new anime adaptation. It’s been a long series with many anime and movies in the past, but those old shows are a lot tougher than you’d like. Fortunately, this new one is on the way.
This is new Urusei Yatsuura The anime promises to adapt the selected stories from the manga series, and four full episodes are scheduled to be presented. That means new anime content is worth at least a year (likely to take breaks between each show), and now you can get an idea of what it looks like when it’s ready for release in October as part of the increasingly competitive fall 2022 animation schedule. . Hidea Takahashi and Yasuhiro Kimura (who both worked JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden WindThe new anime will be directed by David Productions, Yuko Kakihara will take over the script for the series, Naoyuki Asano will design the characters, Masaru Yokohama will compose the music, and Kiyoshi Hirose will serve as the editor. The cast of the previously announced series includes Hiroshi Kamiya as Ataru Murobushi and Summer Osaka as Blame, and now includes extras Maya Uchida as Shinobu Miyake, Mamoru Miyano as Shotaro Mindo, Wataro Takagi as Sherry, and Miyuki Sawashiro as Sakura.
Viz Media is currently publishing Urusei Yatsuura In English (since classic anime is legally hard to see), and they describe the manga as such, “Revisiting the popular romantic comedy about an unlucky human boy who meets a beautiful space princess…in the series, the supernatural Ataro Morobushi begins Encounters with the female type when he is chosen to play a tag with a strange princess named Lum who invades Earth on her alien body.Ataru has ten days to touch Lum’s horns or aliens take over Earth!
