Jedi picture tales reveal Baby Ahsoka

new post star Wars chain on the way. On Saturday, Dave Filoni was in attendance at Star Wars Celebration to officially unveil Tales of the Jedi, an anthology series that revolves around multiple points in time across the Star Wars timeline. The series will bring back some familiar characters in new times, and show Jedi like Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and Count Dooku at smaller points in their lives. The series will also include at least three episodes based on Ahsoka Tano, including the original that will feature the fan-favorite Jedi as a child.

In the footage released by the official Star Wars social media accounts, Baby Ahsoka can be seen being carried by her mother on her home planet Shili. See Ahsoka’s new look in the two snaps below.

It’s been so many years for Ahsoka. After years of appearing in Lucasfilm’s diverse animation properties, the character was adapted into live action in the second season of The Mandalorian. She’s now getting her own series, which features Rosario Dawson in an eponymous role.

“I’m really happy about that [Ahsoka] We lived, and were able to continue to grow with her. I think it’s very special,” Dawson previously told StarWars.com. A lot of the cool, cool Jedi that we love and get their stories on, are male, and I’ve seen them get older. When I saw Anakin grow up, it made a huge difference.”

I continued. “I think as people grow with it and grow with it and with the story, they grow and evolve. I think it gives a complexity to good and bad and right and wrong in a way that we can’t always have a story-wise. It’s just a fantasy. And I think it represents something stronger than that, about will and determination and boldness and perseverance. She’s really pushed herself and developed in a way that I think her heroine story is one that isn’t easy to find in other spaces. It’s really nice to see her still out there on missions and the things that annoy her about this world are still very much alive.”

Star Wars: Jedi Tales It’s due to hit Disney+ later this year. Ahsoka It is scheduled to hit Disney+ in 2023.
