The release of the fourth season – the first volume of Weird things It understandably brought plenty of action with it, as fans were given seven extended episodes to explore the adventures of Hawkins, Indiana, and Upside Down, but the emergence of new episodes has also brought with it some big changes to Netflix. Previous seasons and most other Netflix originals open with a relatively generic Netflix logo, but in honor of the new season, the opening features a more spooky logo that sounds like part of the Upside Down, including the sounds of ominous creatures and the boom of thunder.
Season 4 was described, “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which has brought horror and destruction to Hawkins. Faced with the consequences, our group of friends has broken up for the first time — and navigating the intricacies of high school has never been so difficult. He made things easier. At this most vulnerable time , a new and terrifying supernatural threat emerges, presenting a horrific mystery that, if solved, might put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down game.”
Ahead of the fourth season’s release, creators Matt and Ross Dover joked that Upside Down would play a more prominent role in the narrative than in previous seasons, which may explain why viewers savored before the episodes even started. Horror of upside down.
“We didn’t go to the Upside Down last season at all because of the narration,” Ross confirmed with IGN. “And this season, we really wanted to go there and spend some time there. So that’s something we’re really excited about this season. I mean, we’re spending more time in the Upside Down than any other season. It’s not even close.”
Not only is more time spent at The Upside Down this season, but for those who have consumed the seven episodes, they know that the events of this season are shedding new light on the dimension, which includes learning about how the first portal to the kingdom opened in Hawkins, Indiana. . With two more episodes in this season, it’s unknown if we’ll get more answers about the Upside Down, or if the Duffer Brothers will wait until Season 5 to answer these mysteries.
Weird things Season 4 – Volume 1 is now available on Netflix. Volume 2 premieres on July 1st.
