HIDIVE announces first additions to its Summer 2022 collection

Summer 2022 animation season will begin in a little over a month, and Sentai Filmworks has announced the first additions to this season’s exclusive HIDIVE lineup! This year in particular has seen some of the busiest schedules just for the winter and spring seasons, and it looks like the summer shows will continue that trend in a big way. Not only will there be some new programs coming and going, but there will be some new reboots and new tweaks in the animation. So fans started wondering where they could watch the shows.

Sentai Filmworks has announced the first new additions to HIDIVE’s Summer 2022 animation lineup. That includes the previously announced licensing of Made in Abyss: Golden City of the Scorching Sun (the much-anticipated second season of the highly anticipated series), the new rebooted Tokyo Miu Miu, the new Tokyo Miu Miu (which has been confirmed as a HIDIVE exclusive), an anime adaptation of Kotoyama’s manga series, night call (Another exclusive HIDIVE confirmed) and the fourth season of Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?

These four additions to HIDIVE’s summer 2022 lineup include some pretty big returns along with two major debuts this summer, so fans will need to adjust their schedules for each simulcast along with their Japan debut. Only two of this series have confirmed release dates as of this writing, however, as Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon? It is currently scheduled to premiere on July 22nd and new tokyo miu miu It is scheduled to launch on July 6.

With the summer season fast approaching, it’s highly likely that Sentai Filmworks will add more new series to its lineup, and this lineup with their tangible release dates shared in the coming weeks as well.
