UTA promotes 26 employees to partner

United Talent Agency (UTA) on Tuesday announced 26 new partners, the largest category in the agency’s 31-year history.

“As UTA ​​grows, the leadership, hard work, mentorship, and dedication of these colleagues help drive our business forward every day,” said David Kramer, UTA co-chair. “This category of partners includes a broad range of experiences and backgrounds and reflects our commitment to providing clients with the best representation and resources in all areas of the company.”

UTA’s most recent partners are:

David Anderson (Media Link); Robert Arakelian (Production Arts); Natasha Pollocki (TV Unwritten); Rob Carlson (Motion Picture Literary); David Ivinchik (UTA Speakers); Mike “J” Gerges (music); Julian Jacobs (Media Link); Joe Kessler (UTA IQ); Andrew Lear (TV Unwritten); Vara Lev (Kloch Sports Group); Gbo Lewis (music); Jenny Merias (Motion Picture Literary); Matthew Morgan (music); Raina Penchansky (Digital Brand Architects); Jason Richman (media rights); Laura Roenick (Human Resources); Michael Ruby (Production Arts); Scott Schachter (talent); Phil Voss (legal); Matt Waldstein (Business Affairs); Tony Wallace (music); Sam Wake (projects); and Ruth Ann Winter (Human Resources).

The chapter also includes three recently announced partners, with Stephanie Licouri as general counsel, Head of Strategy and Corporate Development Carmen Bona, and Director of Communications Richard Sickles.

The new partners represent more than 15 divisions and corporate functions within UTA, and include agents and executives from UTA’s literary and talent groups, unrecorded television, projects, production arts, sports, MediaLink, media rights, UTA Speakers, digital talent, and UTA IQ. and music, as well as corporate functions such as legal and human resources. More than 40% of 26 new partners identified as women or people of color.

The hiring news comes as UTA ​​has promoted more than 125 employees over the past year as the talent, entertainment and sports company strengthens its operations and expands its presence in cities including Atlanta.
