The US Supreme Court on Tuesday issued a ruling blocking a law in Texas aimed at preventing large social media services from “monitoring” users or content based on their view. The court ruled 5-4 blocking the law, which is awaiting appeal to federal appeals over whether it is constitutional. Linda Swain has been appointed Vice President of Membership and Communication for the Television Academy, the body responsible for the annual Emmy Awards. Kenny Loggins’ 1986 hit “Danger Zone” made it to the iTunes chart again thanks to the massive box office success of Top Gun: Maverick. The song was initially a hit when it was featured in the original film and on the soundtrack. “Danger Zone” was composed by Giorgio Moroder and the lyrics were written by Tom Whitlock.
