Her Majesty the Queen will become the first British Queen to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service with the upcoming Banking Weekend taking place between 2-5 June 2022.
While some stores may close on these dates, shopaholics will be pleased to discover that one of the nation’s favorite fast fashion retailers will remain open during the festive weekend.
Primark will keep its doors open for customers, but with reduced opening hours over Jubilee Weekend.

Primark stores are set to remain open over the Jubilee Weekend, which means shopping doesn’t have to stop during the approaching Bank Holiday.

Reduced working hours for banks
Reduced hours will vary this weekend. some Primark stores will open at 8:30 AM and close at 5:30 PM others They won’t welcome shoppers inside until 10am, and close doors at 5pm.

Celebrate Her Majesty’s historic reign in the lead up to the Platinum Jubilee Weekend by purchasing some Union Jack themed embellishments and clothing accessories.
Birmingham Live Reporter Rebecca Astell I went to Primark to buy the Queen’s Jubilee costume for the weekend and was able to find jubilee themed shirts bearing little icons of British culture.
