Terek Hill says he would have preferred to stay with the Kansas City Chiefs
Hill was a professional pro in all six seasons he played with The Chiefs. He earned three First-Team All-Pro team nods and a Super Bowl ring during this six-year tour. The 28-year-old from South Georgia is on a popular track anyway, but any speed bumps playing with the Dolphins can put a huge impact on his legacy. Hill understood all the benefits of playing with Patrick Mahomes.
The good news for Hill is that the Dolphins appears to be a team that is about to emerge. They have a new offensive coach thinking about Mike McDaniel, as well as a former top quarterback prospect at Tua Tagovailoa. As he leaves Mahomes and Andy Reid behind on his new venture, there are far worse places Hill could have been traded in. It would be up to him to make the most of it now.
Ultimately, Hill’s super foot speed is the best in the game. It will allow him to succeed, no matter who throws the football at him. If he finishes his twenties with two more years like he did in Kansas City, Hill will go to Canton. Although it would be different for him with the Dolphins, this is a great opportunity for him to show that the bosses have done him wrong.
If Hill and Tagovailoa can develop a strong relationship, the Dolphins should serve as the AFC playoff.
