Another day down, another monsters Revealed character from legendary horror film maker Rob Zombie. On Wednesday, Zombie took to his Instagram account to share another family member has joined the production. In the clip posted on social media, Uncle Gilbert – a character inspired by a creature from the Black Lagoon – stands across from Hermann and Lily Monster.
Zombie shared: “This is a profile of Uncle Gilbert the Good.” “Thanks for swimming close to you and saying hi.”
Uncle Gilbert, played by Richard Hill in the original series, sent nearly $200,000 to the Monster family for safekeeping—a sum he was able to earn after rescuing lost sea treasures. As of now, it’s unclear who will play Gilbert in the reboot.
Although Zombie has made a name for itself on Slasher’s R-rated flicks, he has since confirmed that the Munsters reboot will be rated for PG for “horrifying and suggestive material, creepy visuals, and language.”
