Street Fighter 6 updates the controversial logo

Latest look at Street Fighter 6 It came this week during PlayStation’s State of Play, but it wasn’t our first introduction to the game. Capcom gave us that earlier in the year when a trailer showed just enough short to confirm that the game was indeed a Street Fighter title, but you probably couldn’t tell by the logo alone. Logo Street Fighter 6 It was criticized by the community as not only being uninspiring compared to previous Street Fighter logos but also being too similar to some of the clip art. It makes sense, then, that the logo is now being updated by Capcom even if the new product isn’t significantly different from the first.

The new logo was seen in Street Fighter 6 Trailer shown above. We’ve taken a look at some of the different Street Fighter characters returning for this game, a few hints about the features that will come as a central area for players to cross, and amid it all, the updated logo. It has the same general shape, although instead of squashing “SF” into a design, the shape is now a “6” with “Street Fighter” in front of it. Add some gray graffiti texture to that and some splashes of orange to get a good scale and you’ve got a new logo for yourself.

Compared to the original, it’s not much different, but it’s enough to leave at least not looking like clip art anymore. The old version of the logo featured only “SF” with a “6” awkwardly attached to the bottom corner like the tail, so this is definitely better even if it’s not as big and sprawling as previous Street Fighter logos.

While the new logo was mainly confirmed by this trailer even if Capcom didn’t do a huge job in terms of announcing any changes, the logo update wasn’t the only interesting development after the game’s first real teaser. Presumably, the game’s full launch list has also leaked, which includes a better look at two new characters. Naturally, Capcom has not confirmed the details of this leak, however, it is unclear which characters the pieces will start with. Street Fighter 6.
